Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

MarketPlane.ca ("MarketPlane", "we", "us") operates an online marketplace for buying and selling aircraft in Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

Information we collect

How we use it

We do not sell your personal information.

When you contact a seller (or a seller is contacted)

MarketPlane connects buyers and sellers directly. When you send an inquiry, your contact details and message are shared with the seller of that aircraft so they can respond. Please share only what you're comfortable disclosing to another user.

Service providers

We use trusted third parties to run the service, including Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Resend (email delivery) and Google (analytics and Search Console). These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside your province or country. We also reproduce aircraft data from the Transport Canada Civil Aircraft Register (aircraft data only — never owner or personal information).

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your information, and saved-search alerts include an unsubscribe link in every email.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can unsubscribe from alerts at any time. To make a request, email us at fly.marketplane@gmail.com.

Children

The site is intended for adults; we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
